“The celebration of World Earth Day is connected with the protection of our mother planet and the impact can be monumental when we come together and commit on doing Earth friendly acts” These were the keywords of Principal speaking on the occasion of World Earth Day. The motive behind this Celebration aimed at making the students and teachers vigilant about protection of earth. The project was one of the action plans taken by British Council International School Awards.  To make the venture more impactful series of activities were organized. The program kick started with a special morning assembly where in students beautifully presented a Mime on this year’s theme of Protect Our Species.

In addition to it, aesthetically beautiful globes were prepared by the students of class VIII, hence providing the information about importance of green plants, global warming & its effects. A beautiful human chain depicting the message of ‘Save Earth’ was also formed by the students. On this day, Power Point Presentations prepared by the students of Classes VIII & IX were shown in the various classes and the explanation followed by questionnaire was presented by the students.
