As the engine of the world came to a juddering halt with the perilous invasion of a burgeoning invader named ‘Corona-virus’, I was reminded of the felicitous words of the literary giant, Eduardo Galeano, “May tomorrow be more than just another name for today.”

At the behest of tragedy, Covid-19 wreaked havoc and atrocities upon humanity thus, impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands of people globally. The global progress was impinged, people were left discombobulated; plunged in unfathomable consternation but, we crawled, staggered, walked and finally began to run while adapting to the ‘New- Normal’ and imbuing our knowledge of batting with the redundancies & obstructions.

DAV – a Pan Indian educational institution dedicated to imparting world-class, holistic education blended with pristine Indian ethos, too, did not let the despotic Talons of pandemic deter its resolution of making each day a novel sojourn of growth and sought after development in the lives of its invaluable learners.

Our indefatigable retinue of educators did not let the purgatory of home-quarantine and lockdown suppress their indomitable desire of enriching their pupils; rather they created an exclusive paradise of online-class where the incessant indulgence of students made learning a juggernaut endeavour.

Dear children, corona virus has come as an opportunity of catharsis, self-introspection and correction of deviations as well as aberrations from the goals of life.

I pray to the heavenly father to give you strength to combat the foray like covid-19 and reach the precipice of glorious wisdom. Also, I heartily congratulate the corona warriors whose quill of virtues did not let the ink of sagacity go dry even during the outlandishly brazen tempest of covid-19.
